History of MHD-Group

FROM 1990 WE HAVE BEEN GROWING INTO RELIABLE AND EFFICIENT PARTNERS FOR DISTRIBUTION, FULL SERVICE AND CUSTOMER AFTER- SALE SERVICES.

Establishment of the company in 1990 by Mr. Drechsel, he started his business with a sales agency for machine tools and sold at that time NC- lathes and machining centers  and metal band saws.

In 1992 the company moved to a new place and our company building was opened, we offered permanent machine presentations and trials in as show room with an area of 500 sq metres.

1995 establishment of the MHD Maschinenservice GmbH
The business of this subsidiary company started with assemblage of lathes. Service and maintenance visits for gear hobbers worldwide completed the service range of this company.

1996 construction of the second building. A new shop floor was attached to the existing building, with this new facility we began to restore and remanufacture existing gear cutting machines and expanded our services.

2001 assemblage of the first CNC-gear hobbers (new machines) by MHD Maschinenservice GmbH

2008 conversion of the former show room into a shop floor. Installation of two lifting cranes converted this area into our assemblage department for subassemblies and hob heads.

2009 design start for first own product: NC controlled bevel gear generator KFG 320

2013 participation on EMO Hanover with first maschine KFG 320

2014- 15 design start for second own product: NC controlled gear shaper WSM series
